How iDrum News works — our commitment to independent, disclosed, accurate reporting.
Editorial independence
iDrum News makes its own editorial decisions. Coverage is not for sale. Advertisers, sponsors, and commercial partners do not review, approve, or influence our reporting, and no coverage is promised in exchange for payment, products, or access.
Relationship to iDrum's courses
iDrum LLC also sells drumming courses and memberships. Our newsroom operates separately from that business: we report on artists, gear, and events on their merits, including when a subject competes with or has no connection to iDrum's products. Where a story involves iDrum's own courses, instructors, or partners, we disclose that relationship in the article.
Sponsorships, affiliates & gifts
Any sponsored content is clearly labeled as such and kept visually distinct from editorial. If a story contains affiliate links, we say so. Review units and event access provided by companies do not guarantee favorable coverage, and we disclose when gear was supplied for review.
Accuracy & corrections
We aim to be accurate and fair. Quotes are used with consent and in context. When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and note the correction on the article.
Sources & interviews
Interviews are conducted with the subject's knowledge and consent. We identify ourselves as iDrum News when reporting. We do not fabricate quotes, sources, or events.
